Making use of Backyard Space

There's a huge vacant lot at the back of my parents house in Mandurriao. I wanted to make use of this space since it has been vacant for a very long time. I was thinking... maybe I can build an apartment for rent here, but it will take a lot of money to build one. Maybe, I can have a piggery here, but this is a residential area. Having a piggery here is not a good idea. So, I decided to raise native chickens.
It was around July when I started clearing the area. It was the season of rain and so it was a bit difficult at first. Here are some photos i took during that time:

This "before" photo was taken Last July 2012. It was raining a lot during those months.

"Before" photo of the backyard.
Many old coconut trees were cut down to give way to a clean backyard.

Today, I have already started filling the area with soil. It looked better but there are  still a lot of rooms  for improvement.

My backyard with chicken coup after the area was filled with soil.

The old swimming pool that Tatay built for his grandkids.

I fell in love with these...

I love these paper flowers which i found in  the internet. I will try to make them and will post it next time.
